Using concepts developed and tested by Perform-X trainers, we have developed the speed zone. This area can be used to perfect running form, enhance hip girdle strength and ultimately build speed. The main components of the Speed Zone include the Tred-X 30/30 and the Hip-X Machine.

Tred-X 30/30

The Tred-X 30/30 is a high-speed treadmill capable of speeds up to 30 MPH and an incline of 30 % grade. It includes a built-in spotting system to keep runners safe as they train at such high speeds. Each machine comes with an external touch-screen display and control center that include automatic speed and elevation adjustments.

 

Hip-X Machine

The Hip-X Machine develops hip girdle strength These muscles control the four basic hip movements: extension, flexion, abduction and adduction. Strengthening these often under trained muscles will give athletes strength and stability leading to gains in agility, power and speed. The greatest limiting factor in sprint speed is hip flexor strength. This machine develops the necessary muscles needed to drive up the knees and cycle through the running motion with force and power, which leads to increased speed.
